September 20: Exodus (Part 1)
Foundations of the Faith
January 4 -  February 8
Join us each Sunday for our next series.
We're starting the New Year by looking at the Foundation of our Christian faith. We're starting with this question, What is the Gospel? Listen as Pastor Ben explores this question.
Join us as Pastor Ben continues to explore the foundations of our Christian faith. Today we explore the question "Who is God?" We'll look at a time when Moses asked God to reveal Himself and what we can learn from his experience
January 18: What is Humanity?
What is humanity? This is a difficult question. Often when we look deeply into the mirror we don't always like what we see. Listen as Pastor Ben explores this question through the mirror of God's Word. It may not be a reflection that we enjoy.
January 25: Who is Christ?
As we wrap up our series on the foundations of our Christian faith Pastor Ben takes on our final question. Who is Christ? Listen as we explore this question and find out why Jesus came and what He came here to do.
January 4: What is the Gospel?
January 11: Who is God?
February 1:
Today we extend our Foundations of the Faith series with another question. What is faith? Listen as Pastor Ben explores a key passage in the book of Acts that relates a message that the Apostle Peter delivered. That calls us to a faith that is not only belief, but also repentance.
February 8: What will the new Heaven and the new Earth be like?
Today Pastor Ben wraps up our Foundations of the Faith series by looking to the future. As followers of Christ we know that the world as we know it will come to an end someday. When that happens there will be a restoration of this world to what God originally intended. What will that be like? While we cannot know all of the details, listen as Pastor Ben gives us a glimpse of what scripture tells us.
February 15: How Big is Your God?
Pastor Dale Slings brings us this question as he explores one of the perplexing dichotomies in the Christian faith. Free will vs. Predestination. How can one exist while the other exists? If God is sovereignty in control of events how can man have free will to choose. If man has free will to choose how can God be in sovereign control of events? Listen as Pastor Dale explores these questions.
February 22: The Shepherd's Voice
Listen as elder Jeff Johnson looks into the scripture at how God has spoken to His people throughout history, then challenges us to listen for His voice and to be that voice when the Spirit leads us.

What happened when Adam & Eve rejected God's promise, for a curse? Was God taken by surprise as sin and death entered the world? No. God gave a new promise, that one day Satan's power would be destroyed by the "Seed of the Woman."
Jesus once told a parable about an enemy planting weeds in a field to his disciples. Today Pastor Ben explores this parable and what it tells us about the Son of Man's ultimate authority.

March 22: The Great High Priest
As we continue our Lent series looking at the name of Jesus and the roles that He fulfills, today we look at Jesus as our Great High Priest. In Israel there was a very prescribed ritual for the forgiveness of the sins of the Jewish people. Once a year the High Priest would carry this out to atone for the people's sins. But this was an imperfect atonement. Jesus, as our Great High Priest, provided the perfect atonement as part of God's perfect plan. Pastor Ben expands on this in today's message.
March 1:  Jesus Christ, Seed of the Woman
March 8: Son of Man
March 29: The Conquering King
Is it important to identify things properly? If we misidentify things we have an incomplete or improper understanding of what they, what they do, or what they are meant to do. Today Pastor Ben looks at Jesus' "Triumphal Entry" into Jerusalem and how the people had a misguided understanding of what He was there to do. What is your understanding of Jesus and what He is here to do in your life?
April 2: The Suffering Servant
Maundy Thursday Service
Join us for our Maundy Thursday service as Pastor Ben takes us to the garden just before Jesus was betrayed and arrested. We'll see Jesus deeply in prayer, seeking God's strength as he anticipates the suffering that lies ahead. And, we see Jesus willingly become the suffering servant for us.
Name Above All Names
March 3 - April 5 & May 17

April 26: Value of Wisdom
We continue our series on wisdom by exploring Proverbs chapter 2. Here we see two paths laid out for us, the way of the wise, and the way of the foolish. While most of us agree that the path of wisdom is the way we should take the foolish path has a great allure for our sinful nature. What do we do if we've gone down the wrong path? Who can help us and who should we look to follow down the path of wisdom?
...................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
We all have brokenness in our lives. Things that we aren't able to cope with or fix on our own. Listen as Pastor Ben helps us to see that God wants to heal that brokenness and it is the wisdom provided by God that helps us to heal.
As Pastor Ben wraps up our series on Wisdom we look at the second half of Proverbs chapter 3. Here we see a choice laid out for us. We think of it as two camps. Which one will you choose?
May 3: Wisdom Can Make Us Whole
May 10: Camp Wisdom
Pastor Ben begins our Summer series in 1 John by looking at what the Apostle John had to say when he learned that church was becoming divided. We see that he had to 'draw a line in the sand' to clearly distinguish who Jesus is and what He calls us to do.
Why is understanding exactly who Jesus is essential to the Christian faith? Listen as Pastor Ben explores this question and helps us to draw another "line in the sand" as to exactly who Jesus really is.

"Things of this world are passing away. Here tomorrow but they're sure not here to stay." (DC Talk) That's why John warns us to draw a line in the sand and love God, not the 'world.'
We live in a world enthralled with "the end of the world as we know it!" What should the church know about the times that we live in and what should we do when false teachers arise. Listen in as Pastor Ben explores these questions.

June 21: A Line in the Sand (Part 5)
June 28: A Line in the Sand (Part 6)
Have you ever told someone, "You look just like your Dad (or Mom)?" It's pretty normal to be able to identify members of a family because of their resemblance to each other. But the Bible calls us Children of God so what should we look like?
Two roads diverged in the wood... which one do you take? Listen as Pastor Ben continues our Line in the Sand series by exploring the two roads that we have to choose from. Which one will you choose?
There are a lot of different philosophies expressed in our world today. How can we determine the truth when we're confronted with opposing viewpoints? As Pastor Ben continues our Line in the Sand series we will see that these ideas aren't just human invention. There are spirits working behind the scenes. In today's passage John gives us two simple ways to 'test the spirits' of this age.

July 12: A Line in the Sand (Part 8)

What hope, or assurance, do we as Christians have to overcome. Listen as Pastor Ben explains how we are, and a re being ‘born of God’ and how the Spirit living within us gives us the ability to overcome.
Life can be uncertain at times. Putting our faith in things that we can't see can sometimes lead to doubt. Listen as John concludes his letter by reinforcing the believers' confidence by stressing the things that "WE KNOW" are true.

August 16: A Line in the Sand (Part 13)
...................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
As we near the end of our Summer Sermon Series, Pastor Ben looks at John's second letter to the church. It is a short letter to the church on the frontier of the spread of our faith. We see that John gives them encouragement but also a warning to watch out for false teachers and false doctrine that is trying to infiltrate God's church.
Join us as Pastor Ben begins a new series exploring the book of Exodus. In this first chapter we will see how God's people were suffering and the great lengths that the Pharaoh went to to try to keep the Israelite people from growing in number. This is just an introduction to the events that led the Jewish people from slavery to freedom.
If you were trapped in slavery who would you look to for deliverance? We'll see today how God provided a special baby boy to begin the process of delivering his people, and He still works through a Deliverer today.

God has revealed Himself to us in many ways. But today we get to look at the dramatic way God chose to reveal Himself to one man. Moses.
ave you ever been given a job that you didn't think you could do? Did you start making excuses? Today we see Moses making excuses for why he can't complete the mission God gave him. Let's see how God responds to Moses excuses.
Imagine going in front of the most powerful man in the world and demanding that he change his nation. Nervous? Let's see how Moses approached Pharaoh and how Israel reacted to the answer.

October 11:  Exodus (Part 4)
October 18:  Exodus (Part 5)
October 25: Exodus  (Part 6)
When Moses was turned away by Pharaoh and blamed by the Israelites for their plight where did he turn? He turned to God with his questions and God reminded him who He was and who Moses was. Knowledge of God and knowledge of self are two very important parts of our walk.
While Pastor Ben takes a little time off listen in as one of our Elders, Jeff Johnson, brings us a message on forgiving and being forgiven.
August 23:Forgiven

Today we look at the strikes that God made on Pharaoh and the land of Egypt. Strikes that were designed to break Pharaoh hardened heart and to make God known to both Israel and Egypt. So, just how far was God willing to go to free His people from oppression and bondage?

November 22: Exodus (Part 10)
As Pastor Ben wraps our Fall sermon series on the book of Exodus we take a closer look at the tenth strike. In order for the Israelites to be protected God gave them very specific directions in order for the angel to pass over them. This was given to them to remember the great deliverance that God provided and as a remembrance for the generations.
As we begin our Advent sermon series of 2015 Pastor Ben takes some time to look at how and why Luke wrote his Gospel account.
As we continue our Advent series we see look at what God did to prepare the way for the arrival of the Messiah? Jesus' cousin John's birth was also foretold and announced by an Angel. A child born to proclaim the coming of God's chosen savior and call Israel to turn to God.

What happened to a humble girl from the obscure town of Nazareth? Doing nothing to deserve it, God’s grace and favor came to Mary. A peasant girl from a small village was chosen to give birth to the King of Kings.
...................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
When Jesus’ cousin John was born to Liz & Zechariah a strange thing happened. Zechariah was touched by God’s hand to prophesy. Not about his son John, but about God’s son and the coming salvation through Christ. What does this message from Zechariah mean for us today?
At our Christmas Eve service we gather to remember what happened in Bethlehem, and remember that the King who has come, is coming back again. And so come, adore the King of kings and the Lord of Lords.
